Whilst named a Central School, Lord Howe Island Central School provides face to face teaching for students in K-6 only. Secondary aged students resident on Lord Howe Island who are enrolled at Camden Haven High School Distance Education Centre complete their work provided by their teachers from CHDEC with support from their supervisors. Students are assisted in their learning by LHICS in various ways. eg resources and facilities.
